1). Our organization “Shri Kutch Kathiawad Rajput Seva Samaj”(SKKRSS) a registered ‘Public Trust’ established in 1988 by a small group of Rajput families working/residing at Gandhinagar(Gujarat) with the motive of spreading awareness of Education, culture and unity in Rajput/kshatriya Parivars. Our main activity was to celebrate “Dushera”(Vijaya Dasami) with Prize distribution to the meritorious student from std. I to college for the motivation of young Rajput boys and girls. In the year 2002 we started fullflagged office in one of the Govt. quarters at rental basis.

2). In the year 2000 the SKKRSS committee had a thought of running coaching classes for Rajput boys and girls to prepare them for various Government/Semi Government competitive examinations. As a result coaching classes were started for recruitment on different posts in the Government.

3).Over the years we got success in the year 2002, 2006 and 2008. But in 2010 there was big breakthrough for our organization. In this year one of our students got first rank in the entire state in GPSC examination, with more 10 candidates in the list, totalling 11 Rajput candidates selected as direct Dy.S.P.At present they all are performing their duties as Superintendent of Police. During those years we worked hard and succeeded in getting Rajput boys and girls selected in different caders like PSIs, Chief Officers, Mamlatdars, TDO, Deputy Collectors, Police Constable etc. in large numbers. Due to this grovel success other than Rajput organizations were taking tips from us. Our honest efforts were well recognised by the govt. authorities.

4). There was no class room facility available in the beginning. The classes were being taken in a raw shed prepared in one of the Government quarter area which is still being operated for the coaching of class –III basic course (General Class for under graduate student) examinations. In the last 20 years a total number of more than Ten thousand (approximately) Rajput students from every branch have cracked different level (from class I to class-III) exams. They are part and parcel of the government right now.

5). Looking to the overwhelming success, the committee had decided to have our own in house facility i.e. “Career Academy” and for that purpose we had vigorously carried out awareness Program/ Seminars (Gyanshakti Rathyatra) at about 30 places of state to communicate about Starting of coaching classes with full flagged facility of lodging and boarding under one umbrella at the academy at Gandhinagar.

14). The academy cost was Rs.8 crores(approx) , the entire expenditure in last 20 years for this noble cause has been nearly Rs.10 crores. Therefore, the SKKRSS in-to to have spent Rs.18 crores for educating our boys and girls.

15). This Rajputana Regiment(our selected students) of 10 thousand students (now officers and employees) which is serving at different levels, have earned more than thousand of crores against the investment of Rs.18 crores in 20 years. This is a financial aspect only. The HDI our youth they have improved rests aside.

16). The students who are in the government at different avenues have helped the community people economically, educationally, socially, commercially etc. is a continuous process.

17). The considerable amount for the cost of the IAS academy project, Lekawada has been donated by the passed out/ex. students. Some donated their full one month pay, some helped by donating half a month’s pay, which is a very very affirmative sign of our youth developing accountability for giving something back to the society.

18). The passed out students not only help financially but spare their valuable time for new students to guide them also.

19). The SKKRSS has become a big banyan tree now.

20). Apart from this, we the SKKRSS do various social activities like Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebration, Dushera celebrations(Sarsvati Sanman), Sport competitions for local boys, cultural programmes, Medical camps, blood donation camps and last but not the least a movement called “Amool Parivartan” under the able leadership of Shri Ranjitsinhji Jadeja(Trustree) to abolish false rituals amongst our community gradually. We also celebrate 15th August/26th January. All these activities are being supported by the Gandhinagar Rajput Mahila Mandal, Gandhinagar.
